Mission
Arts Ahead 2025 will reimagine traditional presentation methods within the arts by moving beyond conventional spaces such as “white cube” galleries. We will re-examine how we produce art by centring creativity and emphasizing community in the Tkaronto arts sector.
Vision
To break away from arts traditions and spaces that have historically been elitist, exclusive, and oppressive.
To remind ourselves and each other of why we make art, and the joy, catharsis, and healing that can come along with it.
To explore the resources and approaches we have available to us (both historical and new) that may help us in our mission.
To foster and strengthen a sense of community in the Toronto arts scene and beyond, based in connection, diversity and accessibility.
