Once a year Canadians get a chance to witness one of the biggest dance festivals in North America, and yesterday was the day!
The Fall for Dance North Festival is now being held for the second time in Toronto and no doubts it was perfectly organized. Everyone who had a ticket had a chance to attend The Pre-show Artist Talk where choreographers and artist curators talked about their shows rousing even bigger interest in the audience.
The performances were breathtaking; the scenery, the body physique, the costumes…everything combined perfectly resulting in great show to watch. Fall for Dance North is the analogue of the 10 days Fall for Dance festival in New York. We, Canadians, are very lucky to have FFDN held locally in Toronto.
The 2016 festival hosted 10 acclaimed Canadian and international dance companies during three evening performances and a matinee program, all shows only costing $15!
