Allie holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours from Queen’s University, where she completed a medial in Drama and Gender Studies and a certificate in Sexual and Gender Diversity. She aspires to work with the vibrant Toronto theatre community, helping share work that questions the status quo and leaves participants thinking differently. Since the pandemic began, Allie has greatly missed seeing theatre in person and eating in restaurants. She loves taking long walks in the city while sipping a hot cup of coffee.

She is interested in creating immersive installations as her exhibition method. Currently, she is pursuing a graduate certificate in Arts Management at Centennial College. Her plan after completing this program is to travel, and live and work internationally both as a photographer and arts manager, specifically in organizations with a focus on public arts and community engagement. Her long term goal is to work for some of her favourite institutions  and eventually run her own arts organization (focus to be determined!). Aside from visiting galleries and museums, she enjoys spending her free time going on road trips, visiting antique markets, biking, attending concerts, and spending time with her cats.

She appreciates the arts for their ability to spark important conversations, to invoke action and introspection. Inspired by experiences from her travels, Grace pursued a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours at Queen’s University in Art History with a minor in English. Harbouring an admiration for academia, she recently obtained a Masters Degree in the History of Art from the University of Toronto. Grace is eager to begin her career in Arts Management, leaning into development, marketing and communications. In her spare moments, Grace has been known to dabble in songwriting and poetry, always finding time for family, friends and fine dining. She is excited for the opportunity to create new content, and to contribute to the conversation.

Lauren Trossman (she/her)

After graduating from Queen’s University in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Lauren decided to follow her life-long love of musical theatre and the arts. She is now a student at Centennial College’s Arts Management program and wants to work in theatre marketing. Lauren dreams of one day working on marketing for big Broadway musicals and helping to create diverse and representative musical theatre. She has also spent the past five summers working as a camp counsellor at Bayview Glen Camp in Toronto, and is passionate about working with children. In her free time, Lauren loves cooking and baking, reading, and watching reality TV!
